This little beauty is on its way to the UK from Poland. It's completely original - aprt from the paint - and all the correct VW parts are there. It a 64 built in Nov 63. Amazingly, for a car in Poland, it has its original engine (although I haven't seen the number) it's the twin carb model and can be seen running here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZaxC_VI6ZE. There is also a walk around of the car here (both these videos were done by former owner).

If you want to see all the photos of the car then go here: http://imgur.com/a/WLuxL

If you see her on her travels on Monday, tuesday or wednesday. take a pic (only if safe to do so) and put it on here. Would love to see her journey.

Congratulations on the new car!

Looks pretty complete and original.

They really did a complete job with that paint work.

Yes Very Happy The fuel lines are basically lawnmower, cart or racing fuel tubing. If they are this stuff....

They should actually hold up fine....just no pressure capability...but its fine with carbs. Ray

Thanks Guys, The car is the most original car i have ever seen. There is a story behind it and the reason it is in the condition it is in. It was on the road for 1 year after the fall of communism in Poland and was kept going when parts were extremely difficult to come by. The paint is LOT air blew - presumably off the back of a lorry delivering it to the airport where the guy worked.

The fuel lines were only used to fire it up
