|

I searching I find there are 2 different looking fuel pumps with the same part#. I finally find a part breakdown and in one the check valve is kinda like a valve, stem and all with a spring. The other pump check valve is a ball and spring. I find instructions how to set one but not the one with ball and spring. Will both of these work in this heater? Why the same part# for different pumps?. Was one of these a newer version? Why can't I find how to set the one with the ball and spring?
Any info. appreciated. |

Any pump from any gas heater will work. If you read the setting instructions you found it has two things to check, the stagnate distance of the ball jet to 16.5mm and then fine tuning it for a certain cc volume of fluid every minute or two.
Its the volume measurement thats the key. All - even new ones you can get for new Eberspacher units have this volume control. So if you check the cc per minute then you should be good to use any afaik. _________________
