1957 rear apron catch plate

Looking for a replacement. Has anyone modified a newer model reproduction bolt-on catch plate? Looking for a bolt-on plate, trying to avoid welding and painting. Sample photo below...

But I see no reason why you cannot drill a couple holes and bolt it in place.
If you ever are going to repaint, you could weld it in place when you prep for paint!
