For those of us with Type IV engines in our 181 we have a new 481 emblem for our beasts. I did this project before with lackluster results using a PolyJet.
Now I have a nice new MarkForged Mark Two printer. Printed in 100 micron layers.

So now I can use nylon with chopped carbon fiber, plus continues strands of carbon fiber inlay. Then press fit in rare earth magnets to hold firm to the body.
Blue strands are where the continues strands of carbon fiber are inlaid

Note sure yet. But I like the serious Industrial look of it. To bad it will need to get painted or it will break down over time in the sun.
Here is a picture of the first attempt using a 25 microns Polyjet with photopolymers. One picture hot off the press and one painted. But it was too flexible and warped a little.
