Lind, thank you so much for compiling this thread. It’s helped me narrow down several of my kits.
One question I have is if you have the part number for the 27mm sleeve wrench that is in the photo of this tool kit.
Thanks again. _________________ PM ME TO ADD YOUR '67 TO THE '67 BUG REGISTRY!!!!

Neither of the rectangular kits has a 27 wrench. _________________ .

My kit has this photo that includes the 27mm tool. I’ll also attach a photo that’s here on the samba of the tool in question.

Glad to see this thread related to vintage VW toolkits. Hoping someone can help me better understand the VW Blue square toolkit. Any info is appreciated. I’d really like to get a parts list with serial numbers of the various Hazet tools it came with. But any info is appreciated.

Hello. Need some help confirming. I’ve been reading all the great post on these tool kits.
I’m fairly certain this is correct for 1952 dual glove box split ? It doesn’t have the short screw driver clips beteeen pliers.
Came with a 10mm wrench (which I believe is also pre 1952 16”) a 600 14mm wrench, 763 plug wrench, and 527 fuel pump 14mm t-handle

I might just pull mine down and go through it to get all the #s out there. This is a weird one as its clearly in VWoA advertisement as the predecessor to the round kits circa 1972, but is not listed in any Hazet tool brochure. And the box only has a VW n it.
Stay tuned. _________________
