I found this on a farm that was supposed to have a racing Porsche. All I found was this. What is it! Saab? Opel? Neither, I think.

On google earth for the farm, I did spot a ratty 911. I heard the owner wanted to cut the body off to make a farm buggy. I guess I have to meet this guy at some point.

I was thinking it to be an ASA 1000 GT (the first ones used vw/porsche front headlights) but the proportions look different. also, the inner tail lights should be smaller. I can't say for sure what it is.

I thought Lotus Elans only had two taillights per side- but a google image search yielded several with 3. Could it be an Elan convertible with a special (perhaps aftermarket) GT style hardtop? It certainly has the proportions and bumper of a Elan- approx. 1964. It also fits the scale- as these cars are frighteningly small.

| lol ---I did a Dogpile search on cars that look similar to Opel GT--found the Carfolio site with links to similars then started looking for pictures of those---BAT would have probably been easier ! |

Ha, too funny.
I was looking at BAT this morning and there's one featured for sale in Germany, I remembered this thread with the odd Euro looking fastback coupe and googled up images until I found a rear view. There's not many cars with 6 tail lights and a curved eyebrow over the tail panel, that flat rear roof is also rather distinct.
