Drove the '72 Super this morning to the paint shop for a couple of touch ups...should have called first, turns out the place closed over the last month!
So, drove back home, parked it, and drove the '74 Super to work! _________________ Eventually, "we are what we pretend to be.’”

Drove it back n forth to work today 1972 type 1 (total about 80 miles). Put about 8000 miles on it a year.
Now if anyone can help me with my 1962 Lyman runabout (wooden boat) would love to get on the lake sometime |

Does it have hole? Use some fiberglass to plug it.
Need a motor? Buy some paddles. |

Does moving it in and out of the driveway count?
Leaky carb, so it's not going far until that gets sorted.

Just got mine back on the road from a left heater channel, both floor pans, lower hinge pillar replacement surgery. What a pain. pans are relatively easy. That heater channel wasn't so bad. i think it was all the other little rusted out areas.
Driven it since Monday, 65 mph for 35 miles each way to work.
I actually passed a couple cars that were NOT on the side of the road. |

I drove my buggy today, even though it was only 8 degrees celsius outside. The sun was shining. I put in new springs in the pertronix dist and everything was working great. The car has never been as responsive and this. Soon new air filter and carb adjustment and hopefully warmer weather |

My wife drove the 70 right smack into a dumpster while trying to park at work yesterday. Someone was in her spot and the one she chose had a big truck blocking the view. Original fender now demolished along with the fairly new HELLA bulb But at least she was OK and not driving the 60 ragtop.

Taking Mrs. Cusser out to dinner in the Convertible tonight in the nice weather...planning on a topless ride home - if you get my gist.... _________________ 1970 VW (owned since 1972) and 1971 VW Convertible (owned since 1976), second owner of each.
