I was inspecting my front end and discovered my original Upper Torsion Arm Ball Joint boots are staring to come apart. I was looking at the manual so I could find, hopefully OEM, parts. But I am not sure what part number to use for the Upper, and probably Lower, Torsion Arm Ball Joint on my USA 1973 Thing.

How about # 11 and 13. These should be Beetle parts.

You mean, just replace the rubber boot part?
Never considered that. How hard is that?
Easier that having a shop replace the entire joint I would guess.
German Motor Works seems to have some.

Last fall I replaced all four of my ball joint boots along with the outer tie rod boots with urethane boots from Energy Suspension.

If you do a search on this section of the forum using the key words of "Energy Suspension" you'll find the details including the Energy Suspension part numbers that I used.
