Sorry, did do a forum search, but I guess the terms are too general

Can anyone confirm the ground clearance under a stock engine and exhaust (I've a stock height single cab with 1600 dp engine).

My engine is out and transmission is off being overhauled. I'm looking at motorcycle scissor lifts to make removing, working on and moving/storing the engine easier and have found one on locking wheels that has min and max heights of min 350 mm (13.8inch) to max 870 mm (34.3inch). Max lift weight is 300 lb (136kg), which I think is more than enough for an engine?

Need to know if that would slide under the engine and exhaust at stock height without putting the truck on jack stands?

Ta

Ady

Though I do not have your exact answer, perhaps this read could lead to the information you are asking.
If I had a motor installed, I could measure for you. And cruise Cool

Yeah, saw that thread. A couple of references to steering box ground clearance, but couldn't find any about the engine.
