Your Zwitter should have had the same sized filler neck as the '55. That was used from '55 and down.


Ovalteen was such a cool username... as far as I remember, all type one beetles to 1956 had 100 mm gas caps, EXCEPT 10/52 to 3/53, Zwitter's had 60 mm opening... weird.

When living in the moment... in a Zen text, I once read about the term "emptiness"... it is defined as letting go of fixed ideas... when using your Zippo, all may be well to see the fuel level. As each moment passes, just repeat, "all is well, all is well" and etc. That is truly... completely. living in this moment, without regard for the next... not easy to do.
