My engine is out and will be going back in soon. Is it easier to put the engine in without the rear tin that fits around the crank pulley, or can the engine be easily installed with the tin in place.

I always put it in without and install that piece afterward, but to be fair I've never tried it with.

The engine came out with the tin in place, but it was a bit of a hindrance. I think I'll install the tin after I put the engine back in.
