I noticed recently both sides need CV axle boots. I am wondering if the axle angle would cause these to fail. I have Monroe air shocks in the rear and when pumped there is a few inch raise in the angle of the cv axles.

At best buying CV boots is a toss up, I don't think any brand is good all the time.

That is a swing axle boot, Assuming you actually have CV joints you need a boot for use with an IRS CV style axle instead.

Go with a Rockford if you can afford it. The cheapest acceptable boot would be an Empi. The Thing boot is the same as a Transporter/Type 2 boot. There are other boots between these two extremes and a pile that aren't worth taking out of their box.
