It's an original earlier type Devon poptop.

Too cool! It's like this one, RHD & all.

Not exactly "today" in bus hunting history but I thought I'd share. My father-in-law found this bus while trespassing in the rail yard of the Skunk Train in Ft. Bragg, CA looking for cool stuff to photograph a few years back. I was in the are a while ago and went looking for it. Some guys working there told me it had recently gone off to the crusher. I'd love to replicate those logos on a bus someday.

Educate me on geography of the area. Is that sitting close to salt water? Not sure what else would explain the rust.

Great logos. I agree, a re-creation would be excellent.

Love the Patina on the back end of this Bus. The front is not bad either. I could see it roll as is.

If it's not too rotten, it could be fun to do a budget driver build.

Is it for sale?

Working it out with owner now.... Older guy. But he has to talk with family first.

Something he said, i didn't want to hear when I asked if I could buy it...

He said.." My son took the front emblem (off the Bus) when he found out how much it was worth."

Have a feeling I'm not gonna like what he wants for it! Confused

I renovated her after rescuing her from a junkyard. My son and his family now own her. Neptune Blue '77 "Largo" (factory color was Reef Blue).

It looks rougher than it is. It's actually pretty solid except for the rockers and the passenger side dogleg.

Congratulations! That looks way cool! It's going to clean up nicely. Do you know what type of conversion it is?

Thanks! It's actually a local conversion company called Getaway. They're still in business and will probably sell you a fully outfitted sprinter for 6 figures today Rolling Eyes
They're best known for this kind of thing:

This is only the second Get-away bay I've ever seen. It's awesome!

Look like its mostly an adventure wagon camper kit. Which is awesome. Not to mention it's on a sick champagne edition bus. Killer bus!

HI!
Have anyone seen this sort of paint job before? The M-code showed "Special color" and the two tone with pinstripes doesn't seem OG to me.. It has half of a camper interior in it and I was wondering if its some sort of camper conversion company.

To me it looks like it is original arizona yellow paint and then someone went ahead and added the yellow top and stripe. Pretty rare color

If you search 522807 in the Forums some people thought it might be Savannah Beige.

I believe Arizona Yellow is a special color too so it should be 522XXX but I searched on the code for Arizona Yellow to see if it was 807 but couldn't find a post where someone posted the paint code from an Arizona Yellow Bus.

Idea Idea
I emailed him to ask what is on the M-code plate.
