Does anyone know this code? I've been to 2 paint shops and Napa and all have said they can't find it. One paint shop even had glasurit signs so that's kind of concerning. The Napa guys said they could find it on google but couldn't mix it. I just want one rattle can so I'm going to the stores because it doesn't make sense to order from Wolfsburg West. Please help...

I went to a glasurit dealer and had the L43 made in a single stage. the color was to grey. I bought a spray can of Wolfsburg west's L43 to compare and it was off quite a bit. my suggestion is to get a spray can from WW and have it matched. That would have saved me some money and time.

I went to a glasurit dealer and they couldn't find it. I then took my original side panels from the seats and had them scanned at a local place. A little dark, but it worked. I think WW L43 is a little grey myself. In the end it would have been easier to just use those .99 spray cans because I paid $22 for what seemed like and labeled as 3 OZ of paint.

The VW colors in acrylic lacquer spray cans from www.towerpaint.com in color & clearcoat is worth the wait!

Did you look in the paint mix thread? I thought I put a picture of the paint code in there? I took a NOS L43 painted item into the paint store. I looked through hundreds of black colors and found an exact match. I had it mixed and it was spot on.

Check in that thread.

Just looked in that thread, the one in the stickies, and you only posted the codes for wolkenweiss. Now you guys are making me think I should get another can and redo it again.

I'll see if I can find it tomorrow and I'll post it in that paint thread and this thread.

Oh crap.. I spaced this. Do me a favor and shoot me a PM tomorrow to remind me. I'm not home to go look for it.

Sorry about that.
