That was quick. I only had 4 made and 3 people already want one. I could have more made, but I have to meet their minimum order requirements which would have to be 5 more. I've also noticed that it sticks well in some spots and slightly less so in other areas. Would paint thickness cause that? Anyway, it was fun to have it made and also fun to create a totally Vanagon-centric insider joke that only people in the know will laugh at while others scratch their head asking why would anybody do that.

Harboring a good case of Syncro envy while ribbing snooty Syncro owners is a reasonable, popular, and highly postable position to take. I'd venture to suggest its been a "protected class" within the Vanagon community for many years. And furthermore it may be a more sensible course of action than actually buying one. (Not that I'd ever sell mine. )
