Can't afford a Syncro? No $$$ for a 2WD to 4WD conversion? Want put your 2WD in stealth mode at Syncro events? Well then, look no further. Here is the new magnetic 2WD to Syncro conversion kit. Just slap it on in the proper location and become a Syncro member without the outrageous cost and hassle of owning a genuine Syncro. Cool

Truth be told, I've seen this done before, but not with a magnetic backing. Had a few done because I had some other stickers made and it didn't meet their minimum order, so I had these done to get over the minimum. Anyway, if you want one, PM me.

I find it far more impressive to add a "Carrera" stripe to the rockers.

That item fits best on aircooled Vanagons.

I can't stop laughing. That's hilarious. You could tell people you had the "forward tank" added for long trips.

The decal makes it look like a FrankenSyncro (the USA fwd marker light and 2WD gas filler). Then you KNOW the owner is a real Syncro NUT.

Actually.....Real Syncros get stuck more often than 2WD.
Here's a pic.

On the plus side my van's currently theft-proof. But this is a TERRIBLE thing considering it's Westy season NOW.

That's a safe and sane way to get the $yncro thing out of my system, without all the drama and heartache of actually having to maintain one. That sticker should be fully endorsed by the American Psychological Association (APA).

That was quick. I only had 4 made and 3 people already want one. I could have more made, but I have to meet their minimum order requirements which would have to be 5 more. I've also noticed that it sticks well in some spots and slightly less so in other areas. Would paint thickness cause that? Anyway, it was fun to have it made and also fun to create a totally Vanagon-centric insider joke that only people in the know will laugh at while others scratch their head asking why would anybody do that. Very Happy

Unless you keep the front filler for an auxiliary fuel tank. Then you have like a crazy range for the REAL Syncro NUTS! Shocked Cool

Still gotta move the side markers though! Laughing

Where would that be?

I really don't get these, or the imitation 4WD (2WD) stickers. If you've got Syncro envy that bad why not just save up and buy a real one?
And if it's some kind of thumb of the nose at Syncro owners, isn't imitation the sincerest form of flattery?

Harboring a good case of Syncro envy while ribbing snooty Syncro owners is a reasonable, popular, and highly postable position to take. I'd venture to suggest its been a "protected class" within the Vanagon community for many years. And furthermore it may be a more sensible course of action than actually buying one. (Not that I'd ever sell mine. Wink )

Lol, this is a funny magnet, I love it Laughing Laughing As long as it doesn't look too real , you know it's a joke.

In France, my old T3 had old Fiat logos and badges on the body to lure the parking meter people, because it is void if there's one mistake on the written ticket. I contested so many, it was awesome, free parking Laughing Laughing Laughing
