On 73 up the new tail light gasket I got won't stay in place so I can put the lenses on. It is too large to go in the grove. Looks like it should be smaller so it could be but in the grove but be tight enough to stay. What now? Use some kind of glue to hold the gasket in the tail light housing? |

Mine were also too big, so I just clipped them to fit. Once you cut it down to size you won't need any glue or anything. Just put the seam on the bottom of the housing so you don't see it and so no water can get in through there. _________________ Dennis - 1973 Super Beetle ('16-'21)
