SO a bit ago my 1800 original "blew". I thought I could find a 1800 case - pretty quick / easily that was not the "case".
So after 5 weeks since my scat engine order I got my new block. My Mechanic did the swap and sadly tossed the block as scrap (not pleased about that) Anyway it took a while to get it running right and scat was helpful in getting the new engine going now 2100cc with my previous kaddie dual carbs.
All this happened in late summer and I put about 80 to 100 miles on the new engine before having to put the bus to sleep for the winter. (east coast stuff)
Well its been running great, more power, can go up hills and I'm pretty confident in it now. I'll report back on everything as I haven't done many long trips (100 plus in the heat) YET but a lot of up hill an power.
stay tuned.
Mahalo

Thanks for the correction. I used to be a nice guy, then I ruined it by exposing myself to the public. |
