Just acquired my sisters first bike. 1979 Schwinn Bantam. Its a convertable model where the top bar can be removed to make a girls or boys bike. Anyway, I'm looking for a good sorce for some origianl style repo parts. In particular a bananna seat and some whitewall tires. Thanks, Todd

Ok so even though it's 11 years this guy is still here and he might still be looking for an answer I've done business with memory lane classics in Perrysburg Ohio. They carry a full line of old bike parts new and used. Ck em out. Very Happy I've still got a bunch of old Schwinn bikes that occasionally need parts these are my go to guys.

I hope he's still here too. I also called Memory Lane when I needed a seat and front tire for my '65 Stingray. They handled everything over the phone. Although I was really suspicious with the early 80s- style of taking the order (CC ran through 3 times, cancelled twice, weird conversation on their end of the phone, etc) everything arrived safe, with only one charge showing up on my Visa.
