The Bus then went back to Toms after I'd figured out the seating and interior for the finishing touches of mechanical work and modifications like flipping the spindals, fitting rear shock mounts and shocks and mainly sorting out the steering wheel!!
When I got the bus it came with a early type splined steering wheel which I then found out are less sort after than the later keyed type that I needed so selling/swapping just did'nt come about. And I'm aware that you can just buy a new one but wheres the fun in that!
Luckily Tom is good buddies with the lads at the local machine shop so between them they cooked up a plan to join a early style bug shaft to the keyed one of mine and machine the rest to fit........The outcome is perfect

Last post from me for this thread I think!
So its been an absolute blast building this bus and I've achieved my goal of driving it to Germany, firstly to the Wolfsberg factory and then to Hessisch to the international classic VW show.
A big thanks to everyone thats helped in me in any way with this project as I probably would not be driving it yet without your input.
During my trip to Hesisch I met a nice guy called Sam who visited the AGA bus before it was chopped up and bought to the UK. He sent me these pictures which are pretty cool

Couldn't resist adding a few more pictures as I've been driving the wheels off this thing!!
Managed a couple more shows and local car meets and the occasional trip to the pub
Couple of cool photos of it buried in the snow before it was chopped.
Thanks Leiven
And some more from Hessisch being followed by Zdenek.
I even got asked if I'd drive my sister in law to the church on her wedding day, which I was suprised about as its not your usual vehicle of choice for a wedding.
Simply lovely!
Just need a few more sunny days to enjoy it before the bad weather sets in! _________________ http://jcweldingservices.co.uk/

You have done a really nice work, bringing this one back on the road!
This is the bus resting place in a military Airfield in the north of Sweden, out in the woods, back in 2004

Thankyou, and cheeres for the photos I'd not seen those before.
If anyone has any more old pictures of my bus then please share them with me, it would be great if I could find a original photo of how it looked before it was shot, torched and hammered. _________________ http://jcweldingservices.co.uk/

Spending the day trawling thought cool old build threads. Normally I wouldn’t suggest this, as logos look over done when their painted again. But I just thought this would look sweet with the old logos maybe ghosted in again?
Hope it’s OK to throw out my 0.2c (I’m bored) _________________ I want a real garage.

Yeah that's fine and that was actually my plan, however things in life turned a corner and I had to sell up!!
Here's a few pics before it left my ownership
