Everybody should find the time to experience southern Utah--amazing just doesn't do it justice.

Decals were on both sides of the van. It was, at least, an AWD disAstro van.

It's like when we went to ocean City, NJ with 6 of us in the EV and we blew past bus camper (it looked to be around a 1970). It was probably maxed out at 65mph but we were cruising along at 85 with the AC on. Those old busses are great to look at but they are such an exercise in patience when you have to actually operate them on the interstate and hope it's not hilly.

I've been wondering ... what is the yellow block for under your wheel? Is this to level the car?

Giant Lego pieces left behind by the ogre children who used to roam the redwood forests.

Wink

It's probably something along the lines of these, and yes, they are usually for leveling your vehicle:

The trip that prompted the purchase of our Eurovan: Cincinnati to Yellowstone and back in 10 days! Along the way, we hit Jubilee State Park (Illinois), Blue Mounds State Park in Minnesota (very beautiful), Badlands, Black Hills, Devil's Tower, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Cherry Creek State Park (Denver), and St. Louis. All around, an amazing whirlwind of a trip.

The rig ran great. Only issues included one broken cup holder, elevated transmission temp when climbing thru the Black Hills, and a sticky sliding door latch- easily fixed with some WD-40. Longest leg was 12 hours and I feel like we could have driven 12 more without noticing. Learned a lot about how we want to use the van, so we came up with a list of modifications for future trips.

Oh, and we saw a grey T6 in Yellowstone! Obviously shipped over from Europe for the owner's excursion- complete with the Euro plates. We were passing each other going opposite directions, so I couldn't get more than a glimpse.

The previous owner of my EV was kind enough to supply a few. I'm hoping a new timing chain and a some other work will get it back to top form.
