So the replacement heater channels I got from CIP1 have the bump out for the later cars. How will this look under the carpet? Should i mess with it somehow to make it look flat? What have some of you guys done about it? _________________ '67 Beetle L41

I have a 63 in the body shop now. A prior owner replaced the channels with later style ones. I am having the shop cut out the heater vent and weld in metal that will match the more rounded shape of the older channels. It's a smaller detail, but I knew it would bother me. _________________ I will never lie, but sometimes the truth changes.
