Redoing my fuel lines and adding an electric fuel cut off switch....looking at spring clamps to replace my screw clamps.....our braided hose is about 9mm maybe 9 1/2mm outside......should I get 8mm, 9mm or 10mm inside spring clamps ?
Or should I not even consider spring clamps on a car, I've only used them on motorcycles and mini bikes before. Thanks.

Remember our bike's fuel lines aren't pressurized, unless its a modern fuel injected bike. So the spring clips work fine to hold the fuel line on, plus they are in a position that we can see if they come off. For our VWs I would stick with some sort of screw clamp style.
