Does anyone know if there is a company that recovers/replaces the side curtains? I have 2 sets of windows but none are in decent condition. They are either damaged plastic on some previous owner used silicone and plexiglass that is now falling apart. |

If you check around a small auto upholsery shop will sew in new clear vinyl if your solid vinyl is still soft enough. These look ok for a daily driver. I collect up good frames, sand and seal the frames if needed and recover them with new material. These look different than the originals but have a secure fit and work well when driving. Places like the German Motor Works and others have new side curtains wiht no cores required. Some of the new side ciurtains have lighter aluminum frames to make them easier to use... Lots of choices there are even some do it yourself velcro secured side curtain covers. These are said to sag and work poorly in a short time.. Some folks choose to sell their old frames on Samba asn buy new units.... Lots of good choices. |
