So a couple times in the last month I've tried to update my profile. I am using my regular laptop (saw the other fella's issue), and just need to add a car to my profile to reflect my growing ridiculous collection of oddball cars. When I enter the text, I go below to the "submit" and it give me a message that this "email has already been taken" as if I'm trying to register as a new Samba member and trying to take my own email.
I tried to update my avatar picture and got the same message. Any tips? Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure why this happens sometimes to some people - I think for some reason your browser is putting a strange invisible character in the email field and it makes that error occur.
You can email me the info and I'll edit if you would like.
It always works for me so I haven't been able to reproduce the issue and try and figure it out.

Thanks - yank the 924 out of my vehicles list and put a 1984 Porsche 944 in there instead. I will send you my new avatar picture in a while. Thanks, E!

It could be if you have a password saved to this site in your browser. This was happening to me until I turned it off.

Thanks for the info and help for other members.
I have seen web browser auto-filling of fields cause issues with this and other parts of the site so this is a possibility.
If you enter the profile edit screen, the password fields should be blank.
If they are not, maybe this is causing other problems to occur.
