Congratulations! Turkis doubles are among my favorite VWs. Unfortunately, you do know that work on the early Ghia will without a doubt grind to a halt! _________________

Did you have to take the gallon jugs of used engine oil, or are they saving them as fuel for when the Apocalypse comes?
Any interior pics of the camper? |

I just added to my VW family. I am the proud new owner of this fine beast that has been in hiding for 25 year in a backyard in Silicon Valley. The engine still works well and in a few weeks it will be on the road again and off to new adventures in California. Hope to take it to Blackstar 2018. And yes I will have some questions for the group.

Don't toss the cover for your tilt. If all the pieces are still there it is possible to resew the seams. I had one on my DC that had been used as a goat shelter. The pieces were separated and the goats had trampled all over them. But that material is indestructible! I had a local saddle maker stitch it back together and it was beautiful. _________________ "My biggest worry is that when I die, my wife will sell all my parts for what I told her I paid for them"-Jon

Yup. 2fer deal. Seemingly complete interior. It has the cot but no tent. I have that covered already.
I don't want that split. I saw it in the woods 15 years ago. A buddy wants the oval but it's not for sale yet. _________________ Extravagant Lifestyle
