I picked up a ladder in a package deal of parts a couple years ago, buy I did not think it was for a bay, as it did not like to fit anywhere with the curve of the ladder vs the curve of the bus. I found this pic today in the 70s vintage thread, and man, it is my ladder! (credit williamM) Any one have a clue what the gutter attachments were like, as mine only has the bottom flanges on the ladder.

This seems like a horrible idea in every way. It sticks way out, it will dent the bus and I does not seem practical.

Usually they are placed so the bottom "feet" are resting against the tire, someone has that one placed that one wrong. Although from the overall look of that bus I doubt they really cared.

To me that ladder looks like something you find in an RV or boogie van catalog, usually meant to screw on permanently on the rear of the vehicle. I wonder if it's hooked onto the drip rail?, or screwed on permanently? If it did come off where would you store it while on the road?

Too much of a pain for me, the zipper in the rear of the pop top canvas makes access to the luggage rack easy if you stand on the seat.

Sadly no, my F'nDodge doesn't ooze quite the same funk, but if I ever tripped over a set of Cragars, some flares and a roll of shag carpet it'd be sporting a similar look, but the mural would have more ummmm..... "chest" and less castle Very Happy

Oh trust me I found much more racier pics than that. Lots and lots of peaks and big bushes.
