Ok, get ready for this one guys... apparently verbal agreements don't mean anything anymore. He agreed to sell it to us for $4500 on Wednesday, and didn't ask for any deposit just said we could get it the next Saturday. Well today I get a text that he sold it on MONDAY for $7000!! So now I'm out a bus, a buyer paid too much for one, and my step mom doesn't even want one anymore. I guess my dad was right, he will never have another bus Crying or Very sad Brick wall Evil or Very Mad #2gunfire Sick

This is the best education you can get, and its free - actually better than free - you saved $5000!

Patience, your Bus will find you - and come to terms with your Ass for it bears you.

that's why it's important to jump, and have cash ready. I have literally been on the phone with sellers as I pull into their driveway. cash is king....

an honestly in this era of flakes....the first with the $$ gets it, period. I don't take deposits from anyone. come with cash in hand or don't bother coming. keep looking....

Yeah the sucky thing is that when we looked at it she wouldn't have the cash for a few days, and he knew and agreed to hold it, but by the time we had the cash he had sold it and didn't tell us.

keep that cash on hand....sometimes you can't pull 5-10K from the bank same day as some banks need to "order" money for big transactions

This thing sounded nice, but it did need work. Tie rods, full interior fabric redo, full doglegs, etc. Maybe it was for the best.
