1st Annual Vintage VWs Meets Vintage Scooters
EL Segundo, California - July 15, 2017
Together,
El Segundo "Automobile Driving Museum" & "Rare Vintage Air" Vw Club bring you the 1st Annual Vintage VW Meets Vintage Scooters Show at the El Segundo Automobile Driving Museum location on July 15, 2017 from 9am to 2pm. Hope you can attend and support this great event to benefit both the museum and children's Hospital.
1st Annual Vintage VWs Meets Vintage Scooters. Show will be held at the El Segundo Auto Driving Museum. All AIR COOLED VWs are Welcome (Bugs, Buses, Squarebacks, Stock or Custom). Awards, CASH For Top 3. Music, 50/50, raffles, Food truck, And the most amazing Vintage Scooters on display together with Rare Vintage VWs. Show will be $25.00 per car ( driver and passenger ) and Scooters will $10.00. Great Location and entry includes free access to the multi Million dollar auto museum.

First off, I really appreciate the efforts of the club and museum putting this on. Really nice having a show so close and in a more intimate setting. And the quality of cars that turned out was great--and a really nice crowd as well.
That being said, unless they improve the setup I wont make a return strip. The morning parking setup was an absolute cluster...well you know the term. It was clear the museum employees did not even have a plan where to park everyone and it was a disorganized mess. Despite getting there early, we were left sitting on the street and were told we could not park until the "huge bug" showed up. Then we were jammed all the way in the back and blocked in.
I'm sure there is a learning curve to these things and hopefully they have it straightened out next year.
