Anyone have a way to remove the ends off of the stock pushrods? I need to shorten them .140", but they don't appear to come off as easily as late style pushrods.

I removed the lifters from the pushrods....

I chucked them into a lathe and cut away material down to the length I needed and then hammered the tip in to the new shortened tube.
