Hi there,
I need a new vw them for my 1971 T2a.
Sadly I could not find one in my country so I need to order it from the US.
I found the following two items now
http://www.jbugs.com/product/311853687.html
http://www.jbugs.com/product/211-601B.html
Anyone experience with these? How is the quality?
Should be the right one for my bus, right?
Thanks for your help! |

Quality of the front "VW" one is excellent.
I didn't like the rear "VOLKSWAGEN" one as it is brushed aluminum and not smooth and doesn't look right. I wound up using a good used one carefully prepped and sprayed with "chrome spray paint"... it actually looks authentic compared to the brushed one.
The 1500 'Notchback' Type 3 sedan uses the same "VOLKSWAGEN" badge on the rear lid on '63-5 cars. Maybe Mario Steinhausen at Type 3 Headquarters in Germany has one. The 1500 Sedan version only- not the Variant or Type 34 as they are smaller. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

Thanks for the info regarding the front emblem and the tip with the type 3 headquarter. But they don't have one either.
That's very strange that nobody has this part in Europe right now... |

Welcome to the strange new world of VW ownership, unfortunately.
If you need it, either nobody has it OR they do but it's just stupid crazy money. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

the stainless steel front emblems are really a crap. Looks like a cake melting in the sun. _________________
