Is that Chimney Peak in one of the pics? Near Ridgway, Colorado.
A lot of the filming of the original "True Grit" was there. The meadow where the final showdown occurred in near that peak, as are several other locations. |

The third photo? Probably. Not sure the name of the peak. It is outside of Ridgway. View is from the east side of Owl Creek Pass. |

Yep, Chimney Peak. If you watch the original 1969 "True Grit" you'll see lots of familiar scenery, including Ridgway c.1969 |

In one week a bunch of friends will make the 2nd TRANSPINOCCHIANA, 6 buses and 13 friends thru the Catalan-French-Andorran mountains.
