That was so ugly the AC line disconnected it self to drop down to look..... _________________ .ssS! |

Just found this thread, hope I am not repeating this one. More than once I found myself with a blown wheel cylinder, or brake line. In order to get back to shop I would vice grip the brake line and "secure" the vice grips with mechanics wire, then to the frame.
Most notable case was when my ex took me to court over a 1972 Mercedes Benz 250. She claimed I disabled the brakes when i dropped off the car. All I did was take my vice grips with me. Man I miss that car _________________ 1979 Type I Convertible |

A 3/16" piece of bar stock used as a shim in the slider track to compensate for a broken vertical roller.
