Our 75 Bay wiper motor running, wipers not moving. should we replace the motor and can it be done via removal of the dash top (metal portion only)?

Go easy??? Oh hell no.... The Sambanista Sharks live for fresh meat in the Bay forum.
Hehe... just kidding man. Welcome to The Samba, just about the greatest resource for any of your ACVW problems.
Windshield wiper problems are fairly common, so the easiest way to find the answer is to do a forum search for "wiper*". Here is the result:

If your motor is running, there should be no need to replace it. The linkage may have come apart, so it's time to stick your head under the dash and see where the problem lies.
Have you bought the Bentley's service manual yet? Gotta get one. It will save you tons of money.
Good luck! And post some pics of your baby when you get a chance. _________________ -Kent-

thanks for the feedback, so the best way to access it is from underneath and the dash doesnt need to come out? |

Remove the glovebox liner and possibly the radio, easy once that stuff is out of the way. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.
