OK stupid quest time. Just purchased TMI seat cushions for my westy and I'm trying to figure out which is which. I've got part #43-2004-B and 43-2004-S. I'm guessing the B=back and S=seat but somehow that looks wrong. Early 76 westy seats btw.
Thanks in advance _________________ 1976 Type II Westy P22

that looks like a back on a bottom. you'll want to use something over the springs, as that foam will turn to crumbs FAST _________________

backrest looks good. typically you'll want a couple layers of burlap on the spring surface if you use the foam. doesn't hurt to do it with the hair pads either, but the hair pads are more forgiving when used directly on the springs _________________

...and it doesn't actually have to be burlap. Burlap is OEM, cheap and easily available but you don't have to use it.
You could use a scrap of carpet, for example.
I used a sheet of leather, because I just happened to have some around. |
