Spotted this single on the streets of the South Bay yesterday. I've seen it several times and finally swung around and snapped a pic. _________________

The street is really wide there and has parking on both the median and curb.

Not a first hand sighting. An old photo of the Kon Tiki Hotel in Phoenix.
24th and Van Buren, across from the state mental hospital.
Looks like they used it to pick up people at the airport, just down the street.

Awesome photo! That's one way to try to deflect the hot Summer Phoenix sun from the roof of your Bus! Thanks for that shot, kinda made my morning!

yup, definitely a Brazilian bus. and when I talked to the guy I commented that it was Brazilian and he seemed somewhat enthusiastic that I knew it was. he has at least one other bus as well. _________________ thebucket: I invested in hoodride, now DBD won't return my call?

I saw a pristine '67 camper with a pop top, green and white, jalousie windows, and a vanity plate (which I won't identify) running west on Highway 401 near Kitchener, Ontario today. No photo. This is probably the first time in ten years that I have seen a running split bus while highway driving in Ontario. Bearded driver. Since I also drive my green and white bus on Ontario highways it was interesting to view it as others see me.
Does that belong to someone on this site?

On Saturday evening August 26th at around 6pm I was walking toward a restaurant on Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago while on a layover (I'm a flight attendant) I spotted four VW's cruising together, three 70-ish Beetles and a nice looking white over yellow Splitty Kombi with mags right on the Michigan Avenue draw bridge over the Chicago River. No time to fire up the cell phone to snap a shot. Anyone on here?
