Hi, everyone!
This is my first evening on the site. After wandering around a bit, I thought I would come say hello and introduce myself and my new baby!
I know it's cliche, but I first fell in love with the Karmann Ghia in 1986, when I was 15 years old and saw "Pretty in Pink" in the movie theater. Even though the female lead's Ghia was beat to heck and was the most nauseating shade of pink... I went head over heels for the curves!
It took 31 years, but I finally have my Ghia! She looks amazing on the outside and has just a bit of interior work that needs done. I am hoping to replace any parts on her that aren't '67 parts, if any, as I determine which those are... I am still new to all of this but am hoping to learn from you good people!
Can't wait to see all of your vehicles!

Nice looking ride
Post some pics of the engine compartment so that the knowledgeable members can point out any safety/driving issues.
Those muffler tips seem to stick out a bit, be careful you don't get your legs burnt up by accident.
Enjoy! _________________ **1971 Super Project

That's a wonderful looking Ghia! So clean and straight!
I agree with the other poster. Put some pictures of the engine compartment up so we can all look it over for any potential issues. _________________ Contact me at [email protected]
