Hello I have a empi front disc kit on my car and want to run a centerline style wheel on front. Because the caliper sticks out past the rotor towards the wheel I would need a new caliper setup. Is there any calipers such as the Wilwood or even the Rabbit that is thinner and would allow me to make this happen? The other option is griding the back of this caliper but not sure if that is safe.

Not always the greatest solution but you might be able to use wheel spacers.

I am curious if these VW calipers will work on a 4 lug rotor? Is the wide 5 disc rotor a different diameter than the 4 lug disc. They sell the brackets for only 100 bucks and the calipers are generic.

I used a kit from Topline which fits a 15x5.5 Centerline wheel with 3inch backspace on my '71 convertible. G

+1 for spacers. Why reinvent the wheel (Or spend all the money again)?
