So, thanks for all the help. My daughter, dog and myself successfully hauled the Thing from Chicago to Columbus, Ohio last night. We were at the sellers house around 6ish. Because three wheels were locked it took two hours to load. Luckily the seller was very kind to assist (his sons and a neighbor helped too). So, we pulled away at 8:30. Due to dinner and repeated stops to walk the dog I did not pull into my neighborhood till 4:30 AM.
So after a few hours sleep I took the Thing over to a mechanic and using a bobcat dragged it off. He is now looking at the brakes to try to free them up. I expect to buy a brake kit. I am hoping the drums are good.
3 AM in Ohio getting gas!
