I'm just wondering how many we have right here in the samba, that got into em, and have stashed in their garages and sides of their homes, never to see the light of day...I know of 1.
Cheers

Well fall is coming up that's when you start finding stuff in the woods. You can't see them in the summer from all the leaves then when they start falling you can see stuff. I love driving around back roads looking for stuff, but it's still the same old story that they are going to restore it one of these days. Heck I still have a 57 chevy 2 door hardtop that i drove in high school and it's been in my parents shed for about 20 years and i say the same thing at one time restoring that car was going to be higher than a vw now it's the other way around go figure. _________________ "asking and getting are two different things" |

Awesome find though Ryan, any update or more pictures? Look like they are both solid finds. |
My buddy got the 21W back on the road earlier this year.
The 11W next to it is stashed for another day!
THAT was a great day in my car hunting history. I spotted a 58 Volvo PV444 from the highway for sale in someones backyard so I looped around to the next exit and took a backroad trying to find it and out of the corner of my eye I spotted two split bus front ends poking out from a garage. Such a cool day! The busses had belonged to a man that passed away a few years back, his wife held on to the cars for sentimental reasons but finally decided to sell them. They had just opened that garage door around the time I was travelling through so me and a friend struck a deal on the Volvo, the 11 and the 21. My buddy who owns the 21 window made a promise to the lady that he will drive it up to her when it was back on the road so we are headed up there soon. Cant drive the Volvo yet but I have some good progress photos to show her. Wish her husband was still around, he sounded like a true car nut with all these rainy day projects stashed away in his barn!
Heres the volvo if anyone cares:

I heard they got a new show on velocity channel where they fly a drone over your house and in your backyard to look for classic cars. _________________ "asking and getting are two different things" |

Sounds great; should make a good moving target to shoot at. _________________ WANTED:

Bryce you truly are the winner in the amount of Split buses to be located within short time frames. I'm guessing this is getting to be a full time job/adventure, you are amazing!

Cool finds, but how long is it gonna take to get people to turn their phones 90 degrees when filming? It's damn annoying. _________________ nothing |

Nice finds by that guy.
The first Single Cab looks like Johnson Motors?
There are a few dealer possibilities with that name.
The Single Cab at the end is "Autohaus Pasing"?
I don't see this in the dealer listings, I wonder if it was a repair place and not a dealership.
Nice Mango Bus there, I'd like to see more of that one for sure _________________ How to Post Photos

Yep. Definitely not a VW guy. The 13 window van comment was a clue, too.
Agreed, it is a great find. I'd love to build that first single cab in the video. _________________ nothing |
