will late super hood fit an early super Bug (74 hood on a 71)?

Hi...

I have a Super front hood, I think is from a 74 (no louvers on the top) I no longer have the car and posted it for sale locally. A gentleman with an early super needs a new hood, but his super hood has louvers for the fresh air box, My 74 hood has no louvers. We are wondering if the later hood I have will fit on his car, he is not concerned with the lack of louvers.

So does anyone know if this later super hood will fit an early super car?

No, they don't fit. The '73 and up is for the curved windshield, it is about 3" shorter than the '71 and '72 hoods.

No chance, sorry.

Nope will not fit. The 71 72 super hoods are like gold.
