17x7 on a classic beetle?

Good Afternoon,
Has anyone seen or know of anyone that mounted New Beetle Heritage rims on a classic beetle? Did they have any issues?

They are 17x7 with a 43mm offset. Pretty standard FWD stuff. There are more than a few folks on here running 17" FWD offset wheels on their cars. You might do a gallery search for "17x7" and just hit people up as to their suspension set up, how narrowed their beam may or may not be.

I'm going to guess that you're not going to have to do much to the rear, but the front might need to be narrowed a little.
