211 953 509 H 1973 to M74 >ch no. 164 059 Turn signal indicator switch 5 wire.
Production dates From August '72 to April '74.
The plastic piece is known to break.
Note crack in the center of the white plastic piece.

Why would this not work? This part number, not his part, as it is totally roached. found in a pick and pull on a 72, pre cut and plastic parts so pitted out.

Boy.I wish this thread was still active ? I'm working on a Westy ,build date 03/72 . turn signal/H.L.switch. the housing number for this switch is 211. 953.515 E ,I have the broken guts,on the table .I have another switch from what I believe is a 73-74 housing number 211.953.515 G ,of course as you know they are different ! I have the guts from 2 switches ,and trying to repair what I have . Does someone have a picture of all the pieces, tiny springs balls etc , that make up this night mare ? BTW both of these switches have the 5 wire 211 953 509 H switch ,just different housings ? Anyway , looking for the best workaround for this ,any suggestions ,thanks in advance ! |
