Alldata calls for the part
G052162a2
This runs about $21 a liter at FCP
Is there a good aftermarket anyone has tried?
I'm guessing the FEBI......F2 fluid is different stuff, at $9.99 a liter _________________ .ssS! |

It looks like the Febi 14738 is the equivalent for G052162a2, I have not used the Febi but also wouldn't hesitate to use it.
I have found some good deals on Pentosin ATF-1 on Amazon.com. That's what I use in our B5,B6 Audi A4s, B5 passat, and our 01 Eurovan. Be sure you don't get the ATF-1-LV (Low viscosity).
Redline D4 would be an equivalent as well. |

I use the Febi or the Pentosin 1058209 (20 liter) (1058206 for the 5 liter) & go through about 80 liters of it a month. I have quite a few customers cars with well over 250,000 miles on their transmissions. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.

Google doesn't turn up any product based on those pentosin part numbers. Can you clarify if this is Pentosin ATF-1 to avoid confusion.
I suspect your are referencing AFT1 and the part number for the 5-liter on Amazon.com would be 1058206. It is currently available in 5-liter for $66 shipped. |

You are correct, I accidently omitted numbers out of each, thanks. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.
