Does the 1800 20v AGN engine have coils on plugs please?
And if so, is anybody able to tell me how to diagnose which coil is failing so I can replace it to solve a misfire that has developed? Without plugging into a computer. I've tried this but only have access to an Alfa Romeo one and it appears not to be compatible.
It appears to get at the spark plugs and the coils I will need to remove the inlet manifold so replacing each one and taking a test drive to see if it has been resolved is not practical.
Can I measure resistance, etc.?

| The AGN is a single coil pack for all cylinders. You may have a bad plug or plug lead. |

Cheers and well done VW as I can remove the plugs without having to remove the inlet manifold
