If some of you are confused because you might have seen some of this footage before then watch this one too (but the top top video is the more entertaining of the two):

For the past year Leah and I have been writing a book, a guide to Living in a Vehicle.

We wanted to share everything that we learnt from these past 5 years living kombi life to help other people to have their own adventures, short-term or full-time.

It covers everything from finding the ideal rig for your needs, to making customizations that work and last.

The "Road Life" section covers all the usual stuff from stealth camping to wild camping, how to stay connected and safe as well as some tips on keeping happy and healthy on the move in a tiny house.

The "Sustaining" section shares how you can make money on the road and how you can make nomadic life truly rewarding and sustainable.

For a limited time this first edition includes a bonus 36 pg guide to off grid electrical systems.

Have a look inside if you are interested.

PS - I'll try to get other video out ASAP - we are relocating at the moment, Baja to Canada.

Actually I did strongly consider swapping the Kombi for a horse when I was broken down in Costa Rica...turns out horses are quite expensive and only go about 20 miles a day...come to think of it, so did my Kombi. Laughing

Well I am partially through Season 4 and catching up quickly but I think, according to Ben, today is the public release of Season 5.

Ben, I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed this series. The first videos were mostly having fun with lots of music. Almost music videos in style but the series has grown as you have through this trip. It's really evolved into something special. Many many thanks brother for sharing this with us.

Warm regards,

Paul

Thanks Paul, I agree the series has come a long way, glad you have enjoyed it. The last 2 seasons took 12 months of post production Smile So, Season 5 promises to be the best season yet and honestly, it is one heck of a story....which starts right now!

I've got to say it felt pretty good to finally arrive in Alaska after 3.5 years on the road and all the trouble on the way, well it felt pretty good for a bit anyway.

The last 1000 miles was the most difficult of the whole journey

Hope you enjoy the episode guys

Alaska is pretty well behaved, she'll sit still if we tell her too, but she is definitely the first to warn us when bears are near by.

Videos will be out weekly on Thursdays at 12PM PST for the next 14(?) weeks - still working on the last episodes.

Kombi Give-away will be the last episode, in case anyone is wondering.
