How does one measure dwell with a digital multimeter

Its probably a dwell meter that has a built voltage function. Kinda common

Only dwell meter(S) I have ever seen are analog, and I have yet to see digital meter with dwell function... NOT saying they don't exist, but unless digital meter has specific dwell function setting I have my doubts on just any digital meter ...

My Facom timing strobe has a digital dwell meter, specific clip, and it works quite well. Cost a bundle, though, 17 yrs ago or so, IIRC.
