Who sells the best avaiable rubber engine mounts? What are the available brands?

As a rule of thumb, if VanCafe sells it, it is of decent quality.

From experience, they will NOT sell inferior parts. They would rather lose the sale then sell something subpar.

Hi Dan,

I think Meyle is the most common brand of mount being sold by the venders these days. I've used them quite a few times and they're fine. The isolation characteristics match that of the original VW mounts.

The only bad experience I had with aftermarket mounts were some "RPM" brand inner mounts I bought through Autohaus AZ seven or so years ago. The rubber on those was very stiff - almost like polyurethane, and they provided so little isolation that the engine actually vibrated the Carat table inside the van at idle. I replaced them quickly with Meyle brand mounts and all was well.
