What is out there for side door step, stepping up going in and out all weekend starts to old when you reach my age. Sure anything can be made of of wood, but I would like to see some trick stuff, maybe retractable , or sliding steps.
Thanks |

Take a look at my thread on my imported Syncro 16.
The 1st page has pictures of the oem step made by VW.

This has a fairly strong return spring on it that somestime gets annoying when openjng/closing the door as it wants to spring closed. _________________ This free advice is worth exactly what you paid for it.

I had good results with an elderly person just carrying a small plastic foot stool in Winston's cabin, taking it out, and putting it down in front of the open door. I helped that person in, then put the stool back up and in the van. Cheap and quick solution, and good for short-term need.

Thanks, the automatic steep is out because there is an Aux. fuel tank there, but the BusDepot looks good. |
