Bay window wiper motor

My wiper motor is shot on my 76 Baywindow I've been pricing them out and they're not cheap plus i took mine apart and all the brushes popped out so i can't return it as a core Looking online the new bettle and vanagon have one that looks identical except for the plug and the one mount which i could fab something, it's going for around $30 new has anybody tried one from another car? If so which one?
