Finally got around to deciphering my m-code with a little help from alltheprettybuses.com.
32 009 983
507 519

37 1 7488 UN 2319 41

With your production number 9983, that's pretty close to my '73, relatively speaking.
My Number 9, also a Pastel White Westfalia, is production number 9. VIN: 2332000009 |
WoW. And I thought mine was an early '73. Yours was fresh out of the womb. _________________ My Bus Restoration Blog

It's been a long while, due to kids growing up, and other priorities, and need to update the blog, but recently have delved back into the bus to get it back on the road. Super excited about the newly painted engine bay. Not perfect or meant to be show stopper, but really happy with how it is turning out. Below are some pics, and you can view the before pics on earlier posts.

I'm about to paint my engine bay, I got some more work to do but I am close. I've been dreading it because of all the cleaning but I know it will be worth it when it's done. Looking good, keep it up! |

"Alive! It's alive! It's alive!"
I can't believe after all of the disconnecting, rewiring, etc. that all of my lights work perfectly. AND she's turning over.
No start...but that's ok. One step at a time. The not starting could be many, many different things at this point. So not even concerned. Need to drain the old gas, check the timing, etc.
Just happy to see the electricity flowing an it turning over successfully.
